Our Manila clams are raised and supplied to us by Taylor Shellfish Co.
Manila clams are favored by chefs because of their sweetness, their ease of opening upon being steamed, their long shelf life, and their dramatically varied colorful shell patterns.
Manila clams are a Pacific treat. They can be eaten steamed, baked, and grilled. They have a very tender flesh and are sweet enough to be eaten raw. Steamed clams are the perfect appetizer, requiring very little preparation. Steamed in herbs, wine and garlic, and lemon juice.
